INDIAN POLITICS LOSING ITS FACE

Keep in mind India is the largest democratic country in the world. Its only hours more for the Indian National Congress(INC) led UPA to face confidence vote. The Indian capital is at the summit of political pressure.Cars and flights are in fly to allign MP's for and against the govt..The political melodrama which is now performing on the stage Indraprastha resembles horse trade...and is so shameless to create a carving pain in the heart of a citizen who believes in Indian politics.

The political parties are offering everything including money(100 Crore according to TOI report),MP seats, cabinet posions etc to MPs to make them stick to their side. For no apparent reasons or ideological justifications MPs are changing alliances.I am sorry to say the names....Its INC led UPA and BJP led NDA ...the biggest buyers. The case is not so differnt with the Left parties ...they made an alliance with BSP by throwing away their political stand...Everybody is fishing....

Many hot news now spreading can be mere rumours..but about the JMM leader Shibu Soran and RLD leader Ajith Sigh its different...For convincing JMM leader UPA is offering a position in Ministry which he lost when he was found guilty by Court. On the other hand NDA is there with Chiefminister position of Gharkhand...Great!!!Does this man hold this much credentials???What is his poltical mission???You better have a close watch on his political profile...Who is sending him again and again to perform foul plays at the great Indraprastha..???Lets blame them...For RLD leader a place in Ministry is offered..more than taht Luknow airport was renamed with his fathers....Great politics

SP--the big corporate party..Yes the stage was set for them when the Left withdrew there support..They putforward a list of corporate agendas...NO doubt the INC agreed it.The recent steps taken by PM's office like changing the petroleum secretary was a part of it.The favourtism shown by govt to one of the Ambanis is undoubtly for SP..

I feel pity its better for the parlament to be renamed as the Delhi stock Exchange..Indian National Congress ...Is this politics???You are destroying your legacy which was gained through some great leaders....What you should have done is ....resign the goverment and face assembly elections if you were for a noble cause you will be back in power. This horse trading politics shows your diffidence..

Nuke deal is not within normals citizens grasp but this shameless drama is.First define whats national intrest? It is we want to get uninterruped distribution of enriched Uranium which is the nuclear fuel because we cant depend much on hydrelectric power projects because the weather and water sufficiecy is uncertain....and thermal power is not ecnomic..Being a fast developing country we must assure energy security...So Nuke deal is good..........On the otherhand the deal should be symmetric...We dont want to be like an everything 'yes' country like Britain to USA.Indias confidential nuclear weapons should be undercover for keeping National security. So to everyone,India is not for the INC,not for the BJP,not for the Left and remainings,India is for the Indians.

So for the national progress and defending inflation which is meeting 12% every poltical parties should tie up.The mission of the politics should not shift its emphasis...Today is tommorows history...the Time has come for a change..

My congratulations to u Mr Binesh for posting a valuable notion relevant in recent politics. But I am a little disappointed with your left affinity. They are completly opposing the deal and in their opinion India should not make such a deal with an imperialist country like America. But BJP made it clear that if they come in to power they will go with the deal which is not an 'everything yes'.In my opinion the left played a very cheap political trick. They were bidding their time. When the right oppurtunity to form a third forefront come dey withdrew d support to d gov.I am asking the question why left hadn't withdrawn the support when things got much worse a year before. They saw the arise of Mayavaty and knowing well left will not have a major role in d fore coming elections(as it is today)they thought abt the possibilities of a third forefront. Thats a perfect example of oppurtunist politics. As a final notion BJP is the only party who havent took part in any horsetrading.

cont...In 1996 BJP become d largest single party in d house and President invite Vajpaye to form d gov.We could easily reach the magic number by horse trading. But we didn't do that.As a result our gov lasts only a few days.In 1999 BJP had to face yet another confidence motion and dis time we failed by a single vote.In dat time also we could influence one or two independents but we didnt do dat.In d next election BJP made a great victory. What I am trying to say is we hadnt took part in any horse trading to support our gov.Den y should we have to do it now to confound d gov when election will takelace with in a 6 months time. For us it doesn't matters whether d gov falls or not.

The basic principle of any plitical party should be to serve their people and country. A Politician has the ultimate skill to serve this country, but at the same time he also has the ultimate skill to punish the people..sadly the latter skill prevails...I agree with you Bineesh....
